Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the TerrainTap elevation API service operated by Göran Backlund Konsult ("we," "us," or "the Company"). By using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Warranties

All data provided by the service is done so on an "as is" basis. We provide no warranties or guarantees of any kind as to the correctness or usability of the data. By using the service you agree that the Company is not responsible, in any way, for any consequences resulting from use of information provided by the service. Use of the service implies agreement to respect and obey the terms of the data licenses of returned results. Users of the service accept all responsibility for obeying licensing terms of the data.

Service Availability

We make no guarantees regarding service uptime, availability, or performance. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or consequences resulting from service interruptions, downtime, or unavailability, whether planned or unplanned.

Accounts

Customers may cancel at any time for any reason. Cancellation does not entitle customers to a refund of any fees already paid. We have no obligation to continue providing service to any account on our free tier. We reserve the right to cancel the account of any user we, at our sole discretion, deem to be abusing our service.

Changes

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. We reserve the right to change the service or any of its various functionalities at any time. Changes take effect immediately from the time of publication. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of changes.

Usage

You are free to cache results returned by the API. We reserve the right to implement rate limits and usage quotas. Excessive or abusive usage may result in service restrictions or account suspension.

Intellectual Property

The API, its design, and underlying technology remain the intellectual property of the Company.

Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims arising from their use of the service.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts.
